Students at Swanwick Hall School hit a major milestone today as they received their GCSE results and looked ahead to the next stage of their education and training. This year, the school recorded an increase in its overall Attainment 8 result, alongside a range of achievements from students across the year group.

Among the many individual achievements being celebrated are:

  • Karina M, who achieved all grade 9s. This is an exceptional accomplishment and reflects not only her remarkable academic ability, but also her dedication, resilience and commitment to excellence throughout her studies.
  • Timilehin O, who joined Swanwick Hall School at the start of year 10 and has gone on to achieve an incredible set of GCSE results with three grade 9s, three grade 8s, one grade 7 and one grade 6.

Emma Howard, Headteacher, at Swanwick Hall School, said:

“I am incredibly proud of our students and everything they have achieved. These results are the culmination of years of hard work, determination and perseverance, and they are thoroughly deserved.

“The improvement in our GCSE outcomes, particularly our Attainment 8 score, is a reflection of the relentless commitment of our staff, the support of our families and, most importantly, the ambition and dedication shown by our students every day.

“We have worked hard to create a culture where every student is encouraged to achieve their very best and it’s wonderful to see that effort reflected in this year’s results. While we celebrate the successes of our highest achievers, we are equally proud of every student who has made progress, overcome challenges and reached their individual goals.

“I would like to thank our staff for their unwavering dedication and professionalism, and our families for their continued support. Together, we have achieved a set of results that the entire Swanwick Hall community can be proud of.”
