We are incredibly proud to announce that both our Year 7 and Year 8 football teams have been crowned Derbyshire County Cup Champions! ⚽🎉
Both teams travelled to the finals day at Derby Racecourse and showed unbelievable determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout their cup runs.
The Year 8 final was a hard-fought battle. After falling behind in the first half, Layton brought the team level in the second. The game went straight to penalties, where our boys held their nerve and came out 4-3 winners!
This is a phenomenal achievement for Swanwick Hall School – no teams in recent history have reached the final, and now two teams have brought home the trophy on the same day!
A huge thank you to our amazing players for their dedication, to staff for their support, and to all the parents and carers who cheered them on throughout the journey.
